Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Rosalie lived a life filled with devotion, warmth, and unwavering love for her family and friends. She shared a special bond with her only brother, Charlie D’Agata, and his wife Joyce, whom she embraced as a sister and dear friend.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Richard LaRochelle, and her eldest son, Richard LaRochelle Jr. She is survived by her children Robert LaRochelle (Rachel), Robin Hunt (Andrew), and Rhonda Carlson (Sharon); her daughter-in-law Bonnie Alexander; her cherished grandchildren Anthony, Ryan, Aviana, and Jared; and three great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and several cousins all of whom she adored and held close to her heart.
Roe’s greatest joy was found in the kitchen, where she brought generations together around the table. Her cooking was more than nourishment—it was a celebration of tradition, love, and connection. The recipes she shared and the memories she created will live on as part of her enduring legacy. Roe was a die hard, New England sports fan and most especially a Boston Red Sox fan, she never missed a game.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and remembered always for her kindness, strength, and the love she gave so freely.
