Clay was born to Russell C. Hall, Sr. and Betty Marie Carroll of Danville KY. He lived in Lexington, KY before moving to Florida 20 years ago.
He was a loan services officer and a vice president for Chase Manhattan Bank in Boca Raton, and New York City for ten years.
He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance and had attended the University of Miami for post graduate work.
Clay is survived by his parents Russell Sr. and Betty Hall of Jensen Beach, FL, his sister, Anna Margaret Ash and Her husband Michael of Cary, NC and three nephews, Morgan, Russell and Alexander Ash.
