

Born to Vincenzo “Jim” and Frances “Rose” Muscara, she was raised in Somerville, MA. She had been a resident of Florida since approximately 1943, originally moving to Leesburg, FL, and then relocating to Jensen Beach 15 years ago . Prior to her retirement, she had been a bank teller, and a consultant for Mary Kay. Viola was a member of St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church in Jensen Beach, FL, the Elks Club, and Island Dunes Golf Club.
Viola is survived by her sons Ronald Collins of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and Anthony W. Collins of Mt. Dora, FL; stepsons Roger Parker of Ocala, Fl, and Barry Parker of NC; grandson Taylor Collins of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; sisters Norma Martin of Hutchinson Island, FL, Lorraine Fitzgerald of Hutchinson Island, FL, Mildred Jervis of Franklin, TN; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Viola was preceded in death by her husband Murray M. Parker.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Aycock Funeral Home, 950 NE Jensen Beach Boulevard, Jensen Beach, FL 34957. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 AM on Friday, June 25, 2010 at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Interment will be in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens in Moultrie, Georgia.
