Judith Marie Pierce, age 87, of Piney Flats, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, August 11 2025, at her residence. She was born in Bluff City, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Zylkie Woods and Hassie Sams Woods. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene Pierce; one grandson, Ronnie Pierce, Jr.; and three brothers, Claude Woods, Jack Woods, and JB Woods.
Judith was a lifelong member of Landmark Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Ronnie Pierce and wife Becky; three grandchildren, Judy Sowder and husband Josh, Timmy Pierce, and Diana Estep; nine great grandchildren; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Betty Maines and Frances Fleenor and husband Monte; three sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sandra and Leonard Richardson, Rita Jenkins and Debra and Raymond Blevins; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gary and Judy Pierce; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Monte Vista Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Tom Severt officiating. A Private Interment will be held in Hamblen Memory Gardens in Morristown, Tennessee. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Woods, Eddie Woods, Doug Maines, Randall Lewis, Terry Williams, Roy Rumley, Troy Rumley, Justin Ray, Caleb Rumley, James Douglas Maines, Dalton Maines, Joseph Woods, Dean Ray, Michael Grindstaff, Michael Hodge and James Pierce.
The family would like to extend their thanks the numerous family and friends for all the love and care that was shown.
