Kenneth Junior Crowe, Sr., age 80, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born in Elizabethton, Tennessee, a son of the late Easton Crowe and Joann Adams Crowe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Rya Leonard.
Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam. During his time of service, he received the following decorations and citations; Expert (Rifle M-14). He was of the Baptist faith and had worked as a Senior Sales Consultant. He loved fishing and will be remembered as a Bass Master of America Fisherman. He had a huge love for animals especially his dogs. Kenneth was an avid football fan especially San Francisco 49ers.
He is survived by one daughter, Carol Leonard; one son, Kenneth Crowe, Jr.; two grandchildren, Robert Leonard and Sarah Leonard; three great grandchildren, Jadelynn Garcia, Olivia Leonard, and Izabella Thompson; two brothers, Jerry Grindstaff and Rick Grindstaff; one sister, Shirley Morrell; and several nieces and nephews.
Private Committal Service and Inurnment will be held at the Mountain Home National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to a local animal shelter of choice.
