Louis "L.C." Carl Casey

Louis Carl “L.C.” Casey, age 87, of Bluff City, TN, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Saltville, Virginia, a son of the late James “Bob” Robert Casey and Edna Virginia Pickle Casey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Vanessa Kay Chambers; two sisters, Geneva Casey and Dorothy Ray; four brother-in-laws, Bill Carrier, Mack Ray, Clyde Ray, and Wayne Lewis; and one sister-in-law, Betty Casey.

L.C. retired as a subcontractor for Tennessee Valley Aluminum and had previously worked for Richard Myers Plumbing. He was a member of Riverbend Church in Saltville, Virginia. He loved to hunt and fish.

He is survived by wife of 51 years, Linda “Linn” Casey; two children, David Casey and Lisa Alexander; two step children, Jim Habera and wife Connie, and Larry Habera and wife Sandy; one son-in-law, Ed Chambers; six grandchildren, Alex Casey, Phillip Casey, Isaac Alexander, April Mottern, Amber Adams, and Chelsea Collins; six great grandchildren, Marshall Casey, Isabella Mottern, Iris Mottern, Kullen Adams, Caroline Collins, and Hudson Collins; nine siblings, Freda Myers and husband Richard, Pearl Carrier, Jewel Ray and husband Junior, Alvin Casey and wife Linda, Shirley Ray, Bobby Casey and wife Audrey, Dudley Casey and wife Hazel, Tony Casey, and Daphine Lewis; and several nieces and nephews.

Committal Service and Interment will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Garden of the Gospels at Monte Vista Memorial Park with his nephew, Pastor Mark Casey officiating. Pallbearers will be members of the family.
