Thank you to all that shared a memory, your love and support is what is getting us through the toughest times.  It is so amazing how each one of you played an important part in Chase’s  life , we are forever grateful.  To God be the glory.

I saw this recently and realized that Chase was my student worker while he attended ETSU.  He was a great young man; very dependable and willing to do whatever task was given him.  You raised a fine young man and I am so sorry for your loss.

I am so very sorry about Chase's passing.  I am one of the alumni advisors for Sigma Chi at ETSU.  What always impressed me about Chase was that he would approach alumni and engage them in conversation.  I can't think of any event I ever attended where Chase and I did not have a conversation.  He was such a personable young man.  Also, anytime there was work to be done - whether at a workday at the Fraternity House or setting up a tailgate before a football game - Chase always helped out.  I pray that God will comfort the entire family during this very difficult time.

Angie and Roy.  I'm Ms. Tammy from the Children's Center where I had Chase in my Pre K class.  I'm very sorry to hear this.  It broke my heart.  He was just a loveable child.  I remember all the funny things he used to say and do.  Gosh I loved that boy so much.  If you ever need anything please let me know.  Take care and love you all.  Ms.  Tammy

I am so sorry for your loss. I never knew Chase, but I bought the house he grew up in. He adorned his name in random places and wrote a poem on the steps to the attic about Winter and Christmas, with his signature. I could tell the house held a lifetime of memories and he was well loved. With deepest sympathy.

I’m deeply saddened to have heard the news. Chase was one of the kindest, funniest, and most supportive people I’ve met. He saw the light in others and pushed them to be their best selves. He lit up a room with his humor and wit. He will be forever missed. I’m sending my love and prayers to his family.

I will love you forever, Chasey. Thank you for being you. You were, and always will be, one of my truest friends in the entire world. Thank you for picking me up, sometimes literally, when I was down. I will miss your sweet smile so much.

My heart breaks for Chase’s family upon hearing this news. He was such a light and incredible person to be around throughout my time at ETSU with lots of memories made in and around the Sigma Chi house. Praying for the family and everyone who remained close to Chase.

My favorite person to tailgate with! Always made me feel welcomed and made sure I had a good time! Chase is so loved and missed.

Chase and I were roommates together all through college.  Words can not describe how genuine and compassionate of a man he was. He cared deeply for his friend, and loved his family even more. He brought a light into every room he entered and l will always cherish every memory we have together. Chase was one of the best, and my thoughts and prayers are with the family. Love you always brother, we will see each other again in the future.

Chase was one to always light up the room and make you feel special. He was an amazing friend to me throughout my college years, and a friend and prior co-worker to my husband. 

He last spoke to us a month ago, congratulating our marriage and catching up on our lives. He will be truly miss by us both.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Chase. He was a remarkable young man with a huge heart.

Chase was always so kind to me at every Greek life event. Didn’t matter if there were 100 people in a room, he would come up and say hi and ask how you were. He was always a gentleman & the life of the party. He will truly be missed!

Sifford lit up every room he walked into. His kindness, energy, and love for a good time was contagious. Rest in peace, buddy. You will be greatly missed!

Me and Chase were roommates for a better part of 2 years. Chase was a very kind-hearted, caring individual. He would always do his best to put your interests above his and always made me feel like I was a part of his family. We had so many good times from watching UT Vols games and screaming at the TV to having group dinner nights where he would make us all steaks just because he wanted to prove his steak cooking skills were better than ours (and heh was right). Chase will be dearly missed and my wife's condolences go out to his family.

Praying for Chase’s family. He was such a bright light in this world. Heaven is a little sweeter now that he’s arrived. May God wrap His hands around his family in the days to come.

I met chase in middle school and we became good friends throughout my time there, he even sent me flowers after i moved to missouri. He truly was an angel and such a bright light.

I met chase at T. A. Dugger middle school and we played football together all the way through high school. I don't think I ever saw him when he wasn't surrounded by friends and laughter. Such a tragic loss, but what is lost on Earth is gained in Heaven. My thoughts and prayers go out to all family and close relations!

Chase was such a kind friend. Always the life of the party and his smile lit up the room. I am devastated to hear this news.

Chase was a great man. We could always count on him to make us laugh and to brighten up a room. I will miss him but I will never forget him. I am gonna miss Chase.
