Robert Halsey Villier, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, a son of the late Arthur Carlton Villier and Florence Louise Mastin Villier. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Carlton Villier; one sister, Sandra Villier; and one niece, Lisa Main.
Robert was of the Christian faith. He received his Bachelors of Business and Administration degree from ETSU and had retired as an IT Specialist with the State of Tennessee Health Department Regional Johnson City Office. He loved the outdoors, camping, traveling, gardening, and was a hard worker with many talents.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Villier; one daughter, Jessica Guinn and husband Ross, of Johnson City, TN; two grandchildren, Ellie and Sulli Guinn; and one sister, Gale Villier Grant and husband Tom, of Lancaster, CA.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 9, 2020 from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM at Monte Vista Funeral Home. Committal Service and Interment will follow at 2:45 PM in the Garden of the Gospels at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
