I just learned of Tom's passing.  My brother, Gladwyn, went to Jonesboro High 3 years with Tom.  I was born in Tom's high school graduation year, and worked with him at Texas Instruments and Siemens.  He was always smiling, always positive and supportive to anyone who needed his help.  We shared having loving, compassionate hearts, and we were proud to be "soft" as we thought it required a much stronger, better man than to be "tough" or acting macho, etc.  He will always be missed. 

I used to work with Tom at Mountain States Health Alliance. Can't really express adequately how great of a man he was. Always positive attitude with a smile on his face, always very helpful, received much praise from the people he assisted with IT issues. Well-liked by his coworkers, he was a blessing to us all.

Kim and Lauren - he would often speak of you all, obvious the love he had for you. Try not to think of the loss, but of the blessing of having him the years that you did. And now the blessing of memories of him. 

I worked with Tom for 12 years, he was the best coworker I ever had.
He was a great guy,  always a positive attitude, and willing to help. 

All my love  to Kim and Lauren. When we were growing up, the Holmes boys were always close to my heart. When I would visit, they always took great glee in teasing me and later in life we always remained close. Tom was the most gracious gentleman and my cousin to be treasured. He is a great loss to us but is a great angel in heaven.

Kim and Lauren, my heart breaks for both of you! I remember when Lauren was house hunting as a first time Buyer and you and Tom were there to help her every step of the way. Your special bond was evident then and has remained strong ever since. I wish you both peace and comfort over the coming days, weeks, months and beyond. Hold your memories close to your heart!

Tom was not only my older brother, he was my best friend. He will be missed by all his family and friends, but he will be remembered by all his family and friends forever.
