Betty Lou Remley

Betty Lou Remley, age 84 of Johnstown died Wednesday July 23, 2014 at the Whispering Hills Nursing Home in Mt Vernon. Betty Lou was born on June 3, 1930 in Columbus. She is preceded in death by her husband Henry Remley Sr. and her son Henry Remley Jr.

Betty is survived by her son Donald (Vicki) Remley of Shelby, daughter Cindy (Dennis) Piatt of Granville, daughter in law Faye Newlun of Johnstown, grandchildren Brenda (Chris) Grady, Jake (Alyson) Remley, Jason (Leslie) Piatt, Aaron (Morgan) Piatt, Keith (Jessica) Remley, and Stephen Remley. Great-Grandchildren Mason and Rayena Grady, Zeke, Ethan, Greta Piatt, Katie (Jeremy) Jenkins, and great-great grandson Wyatt Jenkins.

Friends may call at the Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home in Johnstown on Sunday July 27, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Monday July 28, 2014 at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Hartford Cemetery with Rev. Harry Miller officiating. An online memorial will be at www.cksammons.com. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to Acclaim Hospice.
