ATWOOD, Evangeline M., 91, of Johnstown and formerly of New Albany, passed away on February 20, 2015 at Tuscany Gardens. She was born on November 21, 1923 in Columbus, OH, a daughter to the late James and Stella Kalb. Evangeline is survived by her children, Elena (Dennis) Scott and Ben (Melody) Atwood; granddaughters, Emily (Paul) Gifford and Amanda Atwood (Tony Hoover); great-grandchildren, Annelise Gifford, Gwendolynne Gifford, Owen Hoover and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031 with Pastor Calvin Alexander officiating. Visitation will be an hour prior to the start of service. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
