Everett P Cavendish

Everett P. Cavendish 86, of Johnstown OH passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, August 3, 2012 at Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 225 N Main St., Johnstown, OH with Pastor Calvin Alexander officiating. Interment to follow at Green Hill Cemetery, Johnstown, OH.

Everett was born on February 2, 1926 in Zanesville, OH to the late Arthur and Mary (McClain) Cavendish. Everett retired after 35 years with Rockwell of Columbus. Everett was a member of the Johnstown Lions Club during which he held many offices. He loved gardening and sharing his wisdom and knowledge of gardening. Everett touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Everett is survived by wife Helen (Wilson) Cavendish, sons Gary Cavendish of Johnstown, OH, Everett “Jim” (Jonna) Cavendish of Gahanna, OH, sister Ethel Stevens of Rensselaer, IN, grandchildren; Heidi Lester, Kyle Cavendish, Danielle and Parker Cavendish, great grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews and good friends.

Everett is preceded in death by his first wife Shirley (Benedict) Cavendish, son Paul Cavendish, brother Raymond Cavendish and sister Audrey Jay.
