

Mary Marie (Freshwater) Dutcher, 86, peacefully entered into Eternal Life on May 15, 2014. Born, educated (Chi Omega at OSU), and married in Columbus, OH she and her beloved “Dutch” raised a loving family in Johnstown, OH; owned and operated Dutcher Tech Supply, Inc for 40 years; and lived life to its fullest. Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Charles L Dutcher, Jr.; parents Marie (Miller) & James Kerwin Freshwater & in-laws Ruth (Schwab) & Charles L. Dutcher (Bud); sisters-in law Julia Woods, Ellen/Walter Will and grandnephew Scott Woods. Mary Marie was a 50+ year member of the Johnstown United Methodist Church and sang in their choir for 30+ years; former member of TWIG 66; served for 20 yr as Chair of Johnstown Zoning Commission; Charter member of Little Turtle Country Club; associate member of Chapel By The Sea Presbyterian Church, Ft Myers Beach (FMB), FL; sportswoman; avid Buckeye fan; bridge player; loyal sister; faithful friend; patriot. Survived by son Charles Kerwin Dutcher (Chip) of Princeton, NJ; daughter Victoria Lee Dutcher (Vicki) of FMB; sister & brothers-in-law Lee (Freshwater)/James Montgomery of Columbus & Paul Woods of Westerville. Neices/Nephews (Grand): Mark/Patty Montgomery (Ryan & Andy Montgomery); Juli/Bob Knecht (Cassi, Zack, Joe Joe, Bailey, Chaz Knecht); Tim/Betty Will (Jake/Shay & Jason); Jeff Will; Steve/Cathy Woods (Amy/Mike Larson & Lori/Nate Filler); John/Joyce Woods (Louie & Sam); Dick/Nancy Woods (Richie/Cari, Bradley, Meghan); Laurie/Neil McClester (Mallory/Mike & Tim).
Visitors may call Sunday 2-6 pm at the Johnstown United Methodist Church, 159 S. Main St, Johnstown. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 am at the church. Burial at Green Hill Cemetery following service. Arrangements by Crouse-Kauber-Sammons. Donations may be sent to the Johnstown United Methodist Church Memorial Fund in the name of Mary Marie or Hope Hospice of Lee County FL.
