Wilbur Eugene Suver

Wilbur Eugene Suver, 76, formerly of Johnstown, Ohio passed away on November 5, 2023 after a short illness. He was born on June 4, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio, a son to the late Carl and Mary (McCament) Suver. Wilbur was retired from National Electric Coil where he worked for 42 years. He enjoyed cars, Nascar, flea markets, fairs, westerns and visiting with his many friends and family. Wilbur was a member of the Masonic Lodge 86 in Johnstown. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carol (Terry); daughters, Jenny (Joseph) Randall, Emily (Andrew) Weeks; sons, Benjamin (Mandy) and Adam (Alicia); grandchildren, Dakota (Damian), Emma, Avery, Cameron and Tiffany; great-grandson, Tristan; sister, Carla Harrison; brother, David (Jennifer) Suver; brother-in-law, Robert Brinson and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Wilbur is also preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Brinson and brother-in-law, Bruce Harrison. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031. A Masonic Lodge service will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday to conclude calling hours. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Matthew Van Winkle. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society in Wilbur's memory.
