William O. Houck, 79, of Johnstown, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015 at Country View of Sunbury. He was born on September 24, 1935 in Johnstown, OH, a son to the late Irva and Lena (Ankrum) Houck. William was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Army National Guard. He is survived by his loving wife, Viola Marie Houck; step-daughter, Sharon Milner; granddaughter, Maria Bray; great-grandchildren, Cameron Vance and Jessica (Brandon) Burch; three great-great grandchildren; sisters, Doris Hinkle, Sarah Arleen (Charlie) Gayheart and JoAnn (Loyed) Jungling; dear friend, Wayne Howard and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. William is preceded in death by his son, Michael R. Houck. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031. Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at Fredonia Cemetery.
