A.D was born Dec. 6,1923, in Tifton, Georgia.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Odessa Henderson; granddaughter, Deonna Franklin; grandson, Daniel Wendlandt; daughter Paulette Camp
Survivors include two daughters, Jackie (Lane) Plunkett of Riverdale, Shirley (Butch) Smith of Jackson; two sons, David (Peggy) Camp of Carrollton, Gary Camp of Locust Grove; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; and friends and family.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Sept. 21, at 2 p.m. at Tara Garden Chapel in Jonesboro, Georgia, with Pastor Terrell Hopkins officiating. He will be laid to rest College Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends and family Saturday, Sept. 20, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Tara Garden Chapel in Jonesboro.
