Candice M. Williams

Candice Williams, 35 of Atlanta, GA departed this life April 27, 2010. Candice was born to Wyoma Williams & the late Mozelle Kendricks Williams. She leaves to cherish her husband Ebou “Jay” Jallow of Gambia, Africa. Father Wyoma Williams of Cleveland, OH; sisters and brother in-law Pamela & Eric Henderson of Alaska, Mycheeba Williams of Atlanta, GA; brothers Kevin Williams, Zathrayon Rice, and Kealy Williams all of Atlanta, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Candice graduated from Henry Grady High School in Atlanta class of 1992. She attended Alabama State, Clayton State University where she earned an associate of arts degree, and graduated from Georgia State University where she earned 2 bachelor’s degrees. Candice enjoyed writing poetry, dancing, free style rap, traveling the world, and enjoyed living life to its fullest. She was a member of the Mount Patmos Baptist Church in Decatur, GA where the Rev. R. Rucker is pastor. She served on the Usher Ministry until the time of her death. Candice was employed at Walmart in Stockbridge, GA for 2 years as a zone supervisor and jewelry department manager in Dunwoody for 15 years. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, May 3, 2010 at Ward's Tara Chapel with Rev. Lillie Kay Crawford officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Beautiful Greenwood Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 2, 2010 from 12 to 8 PM at Horis A.
