Derek Fitzgerald Yorke

On April 2, 1983, he was joined in holy matrimony to Mrs. Jean Yorke. To this union two children were born, Michael E. Yorke and Monique Fay Yorke.

An engineer, handyman, and walking encyclopedia, Derek was a man of many talents and few words. He was a certified electrician for the U.S. Air Force, but he primarily worked on computers and many telecommunication systems for major organizations and companies such as Lockheed Martin, MFS communications company, Concert Communications Company, and, most recently, BT (British Telecommunications).

Derek's memory is cherished by his wife, Jean; children, Michael and Monique; grandson, Jaxon; mother, Ruth; sisters, Verna, Cherry, and Sandra; brothers, Arthur, Harrison, Wayne and Chesley; aunts, Sonia, Rosita, and Penny; uncles, Denzil, Randolph, Glenford, and Douglas; nieces Jacquis, Kayla and nephew Kevin of Georgia; and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and acquaintances. He will be missed by all.
