Flora Belle Wright

Flora Belle Wright was born September 20, 1937 in Walker County, Alabama to the late Clinton Harris and Carrie (Harwell) Harris. She departed this life on July 24, 2019 after a long and challenging illness. Flora was a true warrior who faced her heath challenges with tremendous fortitude as she continued to press forward placing all her faith in our savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Flora accepted Christ at an early age. She rededicated his life to Christ at The Power of Prayer Healing, Deliverance, Apostolic Church. Flora attended Birmingham Public Schools.

Flora was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her son Clinton Wright.

She leaves to cherish and celebrate loving memories, one son: Earnest Wright Jr. of Rex, GA ; five daughters: Floretta (Claiborne) Gaines of Lithonia GA, Dorothy (Charles) Giddens of Stockbridge GA , Staretta Johnson of Rex GA, Darlene (Edward) Evans of Conyers, GA, Arlesa Wright of Jonesboro, GA; thirteen grandchildren: Lathosia Wright, Shaunterr White, Demetria Giddens , Marquita Chevon Wright , Kevin Giddens, Bobby Johnson (Jocelyn), Trinesia Bridges, Xavier Johnson, Claiborne V. Gaines Jr., Justin Varner, Alexia Epps, Shantavia Wright, Crishania Wright; five great-grandchildren: Kayla Giddens, Marcus Johnson, MaKayla Johnson, Amari Fann, and Arielle Fann; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

Visitation will be held Friday August 2, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Homegoing Celebration will be on Saturday August 3, 2019 11:00 AM at Tara Garden Chapel. Burial will be at Forest Hills Cemetery, Forest Park, Georgia.
