James Melton Poore, 58, of Jonesboro, Georgia entered into rest on Sunday, September 11, 2011. He was the son of the late James Benjamin Poore and Dorothy Jean Liner. Mr. Poore retired from Marta after 34 years of fatihful service. He was preceded in death by his brother Charles "Kid" Henry Liner. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife: Jane Digby-Poore; children: James Poore, Jr., Jeramie Poore, Shane Digby and Sallie Ann Digby;sister: Trudy Alexander; and 7 grandchildren. Services honoring Mr. Poore will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 11am in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Bill Lackey officiating.
