She is also survived by her beloved granddaughter, Ebony Clarke, nephews, Toney Newsome (Odette), Mark Newsome (Nikkita), niece, Shirley Ann Mitchell (Larry), nephew, Tommy Newsome, and a host of cousins, great-nieces and great- nephews loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brothers; Ruben "Noon" Luke, Tommy Lewis Newsome and Charlie B. Newsome.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 5-7 p.m., and Saturday, April 30th from 4 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. at Tara Garden Chapel Funeral Home, 681 North Avenue, Jonesboro, GA 30236, where the Celebration of Life service will held on Saturday, April 30th at 6 p.m.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
