Samuel Alexander Burke

Samuel is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana where he attended school. Later in life, he moved to McDonough, Georgia where pursued his passion for being a professional driver. While living in Georgia, Samuel was an active member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He was known to his family and friends as “Sammy”. His favorite color was Green and one of his passions was riding his motorcycle. Also, he was well known for his seafood boils especially his shrimp that he made sure his little sister received every Friday.

Samuel was preceded in death by his parents; and one son; Casterdalra David Allen.

He leaves behind his son; Tarik Burke of Las Vegas, NV, his granddaughter; Khaila Demarion Ducan-Burke of Vancouver, BC, his granddaughter; Angel Lydia Allen of Amite, LA, his sister; Charleen Alice Virginia Burke Townsend of Charlotte, NC, his baby sister; Charmaine Olivia Lucille Burke Francois of Hampton GA, his brother-in-law; Stephen Joseph Francois of Hampton, GA, his niece; Charlene Lydia Sarah Townsend of Charlotte, NC, his niece; Sharmaine Lydia Sarita Francois of Hampton, GA, his nephew; Stephen Joseph Francois, Jr, of Atlanta, GA, great nieces and great nephew, and host of extended family and friends.

Samuel Alexander Burke will always be remembered in all the hearts that he touched. Thank you for everyone who prayed, helped, and supported our family during this difficult time and homegoing.

A memorial service for Samuel will be held Friday, December 23, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Tara Garden Chapel, 681 North Ave, Jonesboro, Georgia 30236.
