She was a long time resident of Jonesboro, GA.
Sherrill was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Charles Edward Mitchell Jr, her sister; Janet Crites and her brother; Lowell Rorrer.
She leaves to cherish her memory her seven children; Denise (Larry) Rowden, Randy (Tammy) Humphrey, Melody Subject, Marilyn Mitchell, Michelle Mitchell, Scott Mitchell and Samantha (Andrew) Jones, and one brother; Duane (Jewell) Rorrer and many, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation for Sherrill will be held Friday, January 28, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Tara Garden Chapel, 681 North Ave, Jonesboro, Georgia 30236. A celebration of life service will immediately follow the visitation at 4:00 PM. A private interment will be held at a later date.
