Timothy Everett

He was born August 22, 1949, in Thomasville, Georgia, the son of Carrie and Timothy Everett Sr. He is survived by his wife Margaret Harvey Everett and 5 siblings: Bill, Louise, Christine, Sandra & Satia.

He attended Albany State on a football scholarship. He began serving in the U.S. Army in 1969. After discharge, he was employed by U.S.P.S, Bronx, NY. After moving to Georgia he worked at Sears, College Park, GA for 13 years.

He was a very caring and loving father of 5 children: Timia, Lance, Christy, Jamie, & Jonathan, "Poppy" was also survived by 9 grandchildren: Timothy, Demarya, Precious, Devonn, Jordan, Donovan, Jade, Jaeden, & Dion. Which were the light of his life.

Visitation will be held at Tara Garden Chapel, Jonesboro, GA on Friday, May 13, 2011 4-9 P.M. Funeral service will take place at Tara Garden Chapel, Jonesboro, Georgia on Saturday May 14, 2011 at 11 A.M. Burial will take place at Sherwood Memorial Cemetery, Jonesboro, Georgia.
