Alexanderia Lynn Hafenbrak, known lovingly as Alley, Alex, or “Muscles,” passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. She was 24 years old. Born on December 5, 2000, in Palm Beach Gardens, she brought boundless warmth, humor, and light to everyone who knew her.
Alley was the beloved daughter of William Hafenbrak and Sharon Miner. She attended Grove Park Elementary, Independence Middle, and graduated from Jupiter High School, where she was active in chorus and discovered her passion for color guard. With graceful skill she spun rifle and flag, competing at regionals and finding a lifelong family within her team. She also explored photography and ceramics, both behind the camera and in front of it. Alley later took courses at Palm Beach State College, continuing to explore her talents and ambitions.
Her career reflected her love of people and her vibrant energy. She worked at Cabo Flats, D’Angelos, and Copper Blues/Improv as a server and waitress, before joining the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Jupiter. What began as volunteering became both part-time and full-time work, where she gave her time and heart to helping others.
Alley found happiness in life’s simple joys: going to the gym with friends, long boarding, boating with her dad, or exploring Peanut Island and collecting seahorses and sand dollars at the sandbar. She loved hanging at the beach, enjoying game nights at the Samaniegos, and spending evenings at the club or concerts—music was one of her greatest passions. Animals were another, from her turtle Xavier, cockatiel Pikachu, and beloved cat, Kattarina, to the many pets she cared for over the years.
Alley will be remembered for her magnetic presence, sharp wit, and warm laugh. She had a gift for making people feel welcome, cherished, and truly seen. She delighted in doing photo shoots with her friends, dressing up and capturing the beauty of shared moments. She also took pride in her unique style—her auburn curls, her makeup, and her creativity were unmistakably hers. Even ordinary nights of scary movies and snacks became treasured memories in her company.
She is survived by her half-sister, Brittany Miner; half-brother, Wyatt Reaster; stepbrothers, Thomas and Anthony Polese; stepmother, Kimberly Polese; maternal grandmother, Betty Jane; step-grandfather, Ed Browning; aunts, Lisa and Tammie; aunts, Annie/Angelique and Tasha; uncles, Daniel, Scott, and Alan; great-aunts and uncles, Donna, Janet, Mark, Will, and Neil; cousins, Amanda, Josh, Lindsey, Shannon, Justin, Michael Olson, Corey, Michael, and Takayla and many devoted friends and extended family that watched her grow, including the Scruggs, Burgesses, Buchanans, Deans, and Shingledeckers.
She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Nancy Browning and William Hafenbrak; great-grandparents, Dick and Dodie Wilkinson and great-aunt, Cheryl Campbell.
Though her time with us was far too short, Alley’s life was rich with love, laughter, and light. She gave herself fully to family, friends, and every moment that brought her joy—whether through color guard, photography, or simply a night of movies and laughter. She moved through the world with humor, warmth, and a style that was uniquely her own. Alley’s spirit will live on in the waves she loved, the songs she cherished, and in the countless hearts she touched. Services will be held on Friday August 22nd at the Civic Center in Carlin Park Jupiter, FL from 5:30-9:30.
