Our loving mother and grandmother passed away on August 13, 2012. Argene was born in New York City on June 7, 1926 to Ramon and Carmen Mundin. Argene married the love of her life James Vidal on August 16, 1947 in NYC. They spent most of their life living on Long Island, NY then moving to Jupiter in 1986. Argene spent the last ten years in Tequesta to be near her children.
Argene was a woman with a great sense of humor. She was generous and fun loving, never afraid to share a good joke. She was protective, selfless, and would sacrifice anything for the good of her family.
Preceded in death by her husband James, Argene’s memory lives on through her daughter Denise Lynn Vidal-Bennette and her husband Rick; her son James R. Vidal and his wife Nancy; and the true love of her life, her grandson Jimmy Vidal.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 18th at 12 Noon, St. Jude Catholic Church, 204 US Highway 1, Tequesta. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the National Kidney Foundation.
