

Arthur Joseph Hanley Jr., 96, of Jupiter, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025, surrounded by his loving children. Born on February 18, 1929, Arthur lived a life defined by love, generosity, and a steadfast commitment to providing the best life for his family.
Arthur proudly served his country during the Korean War while stationed in Germany. After returning home, he built a successful career as a quality control inspector with the Bendix Corporation. Before retiring, he served as fire chief for Honeywell. In retirement, Arthur divided his time between summers in Pocono Lake, Pennsylvania, and winters in Jupiter, Florida, where he enjoyed golfing, long walks, sunny days by the pool, and morning conversations with friends at the pier.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Joseph Hanley Sr. and Mildred Hanley (née Guerra), by his beloved wife, Florence B. Hanley (née Grasso), and his son-in-law, Joseph Michael Navas.
Arthur was the loving father of Donna Spillane (Jeff), Arthur Hanley III (Kathleen), Kim DiGregorio (David), Karen Navas (Kevin Tomczak), and Neil Hanley (Debra). He was a proud grandfather to Steven (Erica), Nicole (Steven), Ryan (Abigail), Jaclyn (Joseph), Jessica (Luke), Lindsey (Jonathan), Joseph, Marissa, Rachael (Ryan), David (Samantha), Kaila (Luciano), Collin, and Justin. Arthur was also blessed with cherished great-grandchildren: Colton, Natalie, Lainey, Vienna, Weston, Myer, Jovie, Isabella, and Zachary.
Arthur will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, and by countless friends who were touched by his warmth, wisdom, and positive spirit.
His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him. Arthur’s kindness, joyful personality, and favorite saying, “Everything is Beautiful,” will continue to inspire those he loved for generations to come.
A military service to honor Arthur’s life will be held at South Florida National Cemetery at 1:00 pm on February 6, 2026 followed by a Celebration of Life from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, Jupiter, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wounded Warrior Project in memory of Arthur Hanley.
