We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved Chris. May he rest in peace. Christopher Cannon Gayler, 53 of Jupiter, Florida, was born in Savannah, Georgia on May 10, 1971. He graduated from Piedmont Academy in Monticello, Georgia and attended the Georgia Institute of Technology (GA Tech) receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering. He worked for more than 26 years as a Department of Defense Civilian culminating his career with the Defense Contracting Management Agency (DCMA). Chris is survived by his parents, James Max and Patricia Gayler; his two brothers, Jim and Karen Gayler, and Bill and Michele Gayler; his six nieces and nephews; and seven grand-nieces and grand nephews. Cremation services are provided by the Aycock-Riverside Funeral Home. We expect a memorial celebration of his life in Covington, Georgia on February 15, 2025. The exact location is to be determined.
