Diane Marie Melvin, 79, of Bradenton, Florida passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023, surrounded by her children. She was born in Malden, MA on July 14, 1943; the daughter of the late Catherine Skillings.
Diane was employed for Adoptable Greyhounds of Florida. She had a special spot in heart for Greyhounds and was very active within the rescued and greyhound community, spending her time caring for and rehoming greyhounds in need. She enjoyed gardening, dog sitting and traveling.
She is survived by three children, Allison Melvin, David Melvin and Jennifer Melvin; a sister, Sandy Pentinnen; a brother, Charles Skillings; three grandchildren, Joshua Melvin, Amanda Melvin and Dylan Melvin; as well as several nieces and nephews.
