71, of Hobe Sound passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 14, 2010. Born in Henderson, North Carolina. Dick moved to the Jupiter area in 1973. He was the owner of Jupiter Flooring for 13 years and then opened Mr. Hardwood’s in 1986. He was a past member of the Jupiter Elks Lodge and Moose Lodge.
Survived by his loving wife Larabee of 40 years; children Andrea, Chris, Darrell, Keith, and Greg; 6 grandchildren; a sister Frances, brothers’ Mike and Tony; many loving family and friends. Dick had a love for life and a never give up attitude. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family will receive guests from 11-12 Noon with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 12 Noon, Aycock Funeral Home. Private interment will be held at Riverside Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
