Doris V. Herard

Doris met her husband Franklin E. Herard in Stockport, England in 1955 while serving in the Air Force. After they married in England they headed to Rhode Island where they raised their three children. In 1983 they relocated to Florida where they enjoyed the warm weather and grandchildren. They celebrated 65 years of marriage last September.

Doris was a strong, independent woman who loved to dance, shop, cruise and anything else she could do with her family. She was very creative as an expert seamstress along with her passion for painting.

She is survived by husband, Franklin; two daughters, Beverly Jungvirt and husband her Mark of Oregon, Sharon Herard Giannotti; a son, Peter Herard; five grandchildren, Lisa Collum and her husband Raymond, Michael Giannotti, Jordyn Herard, Matthew Herard and Samantha Herard; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Peter Spencer and wife Jane of England; brother in law, Robert Herard and his wife Debbie Herard of Rhode Island; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her sisters, Elizabeth Spencer and Winnefred Mcilwaine.

A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, June 13th from 12 pm - 4 pm at

Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458.
