She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Omar. They moved to Florida in 1965 where she was a loving Mother to 3 children Sheila Pittard (James, deceased), David Owens (Cheryl) and Greg Owens (Fern). She also helped care for her niece Lynn and nephew Joey after their Mother passed away.
Gladys is a sister to 12 siblings. Her favorite passions were working in her garden, bird watching and drinking coffee.
Her service will be Monday December 30, 2024 between 10:00 to 12:00 the service will be at 11:00 am. At Aycock Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Riverside Memorial Cemetery.
