James (Jim) Robert Rich

He leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Michele Foerster Rich; his children, Kristin Nicole Meunier and John Robert Haselbauer; and his three grandchildren, Mackenzie, Wyatt, and Eli. He is survived by his brothers, Bill, John, and Don Rich. He is preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Martha Rich, and his sister Marty Trowsdal.

Jim, a native Floridian, grew up in West Palm Beach. As a young man, Jim enjoyed surfing and traveling with his family. After graduating from Palm Beach High School, he attended the University of Miami, and the University of Florida College of Law.

Jim was an accomplished lawyer and practiced in West Palm Beach for over 35 years. He was well respected by his peers for his honesty, integrity, and character. Jim was an avid golfer, runner, and tennis player. He loved sports, cars, and enjoyed volunteering for the Honda Classic. He served on the board of directors for Rich's Ice Cream and was a member of Family Church.

Jim's kindness, optimism, passion for life, and love of desserts will be truly missed.

A Celebration of Jim's Life will be held October 24 from 5-8 pm, with a service at 7 pm, at Aycock Funeral Home of Jupiter. 1112 N. Military Trail, Jupiter. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations be given to Hospice of Palm Beach or First Care Women's Clinic in West Palm Beach.
