Josephine J. Brown

91, of Palm Beach, Florida passed peacefully from this earth to the hands of the Lord on March 5, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Brown of Palm Beach, FL.

Mrs. Brown was a proud veteran of U.S. Army Corps who served on the USS Arcadia as an Army Nurse. She continued on to be a private duty Registered Nurse for more than 30 years Mrs. Brown was the Grand Dame of Too Jays Restaurants. Lovingly known as Aunt Puppy to her nieces and nephews, she loved her family and friends and held a special fondness for champagne. An avid tennis player until she was 85 years old, Mrs. Brown will be dearly missed by her pals at Sea View Courts.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons; Jay Brown (Renee) of Singer Island and Benjamin Northrop (Beth) of Palm Beach Gardens, sister and last surviving sibling of eight, Rita Prosser of New Jersey, grandsons; Jason Brown of Palm Beach Gardens, Brent Sudeck of Delray, Taylor Northrop (Andrea) of Palm Beach Gardens and Ryan Northrop of Chicago; great-grandsons; Carson and Hudson Brown and great-granddaughter; Elizabeth Northrop.

The family will receive friends from 9-10 am on Monday, March 11, 2013 at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center followed by funeral services at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola in Palm Beach Gardens.
