Karen H. Lewis, born on January 3, 1938, passed away on November 26, 2025, at the age of 87. A resident of Jupiter, Florida, Karen was known for her dedication and contributions to her community and family.
In her early career, Karen served as an airline stewardess for Continental Airlines during the late 1950s and early 1960s. In March of 1966, she moved to Florida, where she met and married John Lewis. Karen worked as a Head Teller at Jupiter/Tequesta Bank, which later became First Marine Bank. Her love for dogs was evident through her active participation in the Jupiter Tequesta Dog Club and The Obedience Club of Palm Beach County.
Karen is survived by her daughter, Marilyn I. Lewis and her grandson, John Thomas Padgett (JT).
She was predeceased by her son, John Edmonds Lewis Jr., and her husband, John E. Lewis Sr.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Aycock-Riverside Funeral Home, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to either the Jupiter Tequesta Dog Club or The Obedience Club of Palm Beach County.
