

Kevin Lee Hessee, of Tequesta, Florida passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at the age of 62. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Kevin lived most of his adult life in Jupiter, Florida. A lifelong adventurer, Kevin explored, trekked and scuba dived the world’s continents, islands, mountains and oceans, collecting a lifetime of amazing experiences. He was an avid Red Wings hockey fan and Parrothead, had a special love for dogs, all animals and ocean creatures, and filled rooms with his smile and positive energy.
But at the center of Kevin’s life was his “love with all his heart and give all that he had” love for his family, his huge pride in and love for his country and those who serve to protect it, and his strong faith and deep love of God.
He is survived by his wife Melanie Hessee, daughters, Rachel, Kirsten and Inga Hessee; grandson, Warren Christensen, sister, Claudia Jett, brothers, Mark and Craig Hessee and father, Claude Hessee.
The family will receive friends at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter, Florida 33458 on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 13301 Ellison Wilson Road, Juno Beach, Florida 33408.
