Kevin J. Stevens

Kevin J. Stevens born in Bronx, New York, and raised in Wantagh, NY, was a devoted family man, a proud Marine, and a beloved friend to many. His life's journey eventually brought him to Jupiter, Florida, where he lived for many years. He and his wife Robin traveled across the country in their RV, embracing new adventures and cherishing every moment together. In his later years, Kevin retired and resided in Hendersonville, North Carolina, with Robin.

Kevin passed away at Wake Forest Medical Center in Winston-Salem, following complications from surgery. He was lovingly surrounded by his wife Robin and all of his children at the time of his passing.

He is survived by his wife, Robin; his children, Terrence (Jenny) Stevens, Shane (Linda) Stevens, Matthew McBreen and Meaghan (Michael) Soriero.. Kevin was also a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren, Riley, Flynn, Evan, Adam and Alex Stevens, Bella and Lilly Jordan, Madison Peak and Sophia Soriero; whom he loved dearly and cherished beyond words.

A proud veteran, Kevin served honorably in Vietnam with the U.S. Marine Corps, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Golf Company. His service earned him numerous medals, including two Purple Hearts and the Cross of Gallantry, among six other medals. His bravery and sacrifice will forever be remembered and honored.

Kevin will be fondly and lovingly remembered for his love of family, his culinary skills, his passion for traveling, golfing, and boating. His warmth, humor, and generous spirit touched all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Honor Flights for Veterans or Veterans Healing Farm, Mills River, NC 28759, to honor his service and legacy.

Kevin’s memory will live on through the love of his family and the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed but forever cherished.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Burial will be at South FLorida National Cemetery in Wellington, FL and will be private.
