Kimberly graduated from Quincy Senior High School. After living in Illinois for several years, she moved to New York City to continue her professional career. It was in New York where she met Wayne Searson. Kimberly and Wayne married in Huntington, New York in 1991, they moved to South Florida in 1994, and soon after welcomed her two children, Shane and Brittney. Everyone who met Kim knew that her proudest accomplishments were her kids and she poured everything she had into them.
Kimberly is survived by her son, Shane Searson and his spouse, Jessie; her mother, Bobette Stevens; her two sisters, Kelly Stevens Shafer, Kathy Stevens and their spouses John and Robin; her beloved granddaughter, Rory, and her many close family and friends.
Kimberly is preceded in death by her daughter, Brittney Searson; and her father, Frank Stevens.
Kimberly was a proud resident of South Florida and enjoyed spending her time with family by the pool, trying new restaurants, and watching her favorite sports teams. She was never afraid to try something new and was passionate about cooking for her friends and family as her way of bringing everyone together (she always had a cookbook or handwritten recipe nearby). Kimberly was a successful business owner who fostered cherished personal relationships through her work. She created a network of close friends through her years and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She could be described as selfless, kind, hardworking, smart, and supportive.
She will be greatly missed but remembered for the beautiful life she lived.
