

Wife of the late Pierre Daniel Houdry, of Hobe Sound, Florida died October 15, 2012 in Jupiter, Florida. She was 89 years old.
Mrs. Houdry was the daughter of the late Virginia and Harold J. Walker of Concord, Massachusetts. She was a graduate of Bryn Mawr College where she majored in History of Art. She had a lifelong interest in art and was a member of the Metropolitan Museum of Fine Arts Boston.
Before moving to Florida in 1973, Mrs. Houdry and her husband were residents of Berwyn, Pennsylvania where she was active in the Women’s Trapshooting League of Philadelphia and the Horticultural School of the Barnes Foundation in Merion, Pennsylvania. Later, as a member of the Jupiter Island Club, Hobe Sound Yacht Club and the Misquamicut Club in Watch Hill, Rhode Island.
She is survived by two daughters Marie-Christine and her husband Peter Quinn of Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, Genevieve and her husband Douglas Brockway of Acton, Massachusetts and six grandchildren Moira Doran Mazza and Jordan Doran, Charles and Daniel Soler, Katharine and Alexander Brockway, 5 great grandchildren, one brother Dr. James Walker of Charlottesville, Virginia. A daughter, Daniele, preceded her in death.
Burial will be private in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord, Massachusetts. A memorial service will be held at a later time.
