Raisa Abreu, Laura Ogando, J. Vinicio Olmeda, and Madeline Levy share our grief at the loss of our mother MELBA COSTE, who passed away restfully, Friday, September 11, 2015 waiting for her morning coffee. Mom was 86 years old, and in addition to impacting each of our lives in an indelible way, she impacted each of our children, Elissa Samuels, Lennis Sabatino, Sheila Sabatino, Saidy Taveras, Sade Olmeda, Brienna Cruz, Jaeden Cruz, Jillian Olmeda, and Adam Cruz, She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Bryan Bautista, Ethan Samuels, Ayden Samuels, Edison Nieto, Luca Lakatos, Evita Medina, Eli Nieto and Milliani Tyndale. She is predeceased by her sister Argentina Marmolejos and survived by her siblings Jose Coste, Mirtha Coste, and Flerida Coste vda. de Martinez. The children that she helped raise outside of our family are legion, the food and respite she gave to others, legendary! Mami, tu eres nuestro Amor Eterno! We will love you.
