Michael was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on January 9, 1951 to the late Preston Edward Girton and Florence Ann Rea Girton. Michael now retired had worked as a printer and landscaper.
Survivors include his sister; Janice Brown and husband Richard of Jupiter, Florida. Ann Girton Dulisch, and husband Thomas of Westport, Indiana. Also, a niece and two nephews: Beth, Kris and Matt, and three great nieces and one great nephew.
Hobbies were sailing and playing with his variety of RC TOYS.
Michael was a member and long time supporter of Save the Chimps, www.davethechimps.org. In honor of Michael, they family ask that donations to the Chimps would be greatly appreciated.
