She is survived by her loving daughters, Tracey and Tara (Matthew); her cherished grandchildren, Madison and Morgan; and her devoted companion of 8½ years, Frank. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert.
Patti graduated from Bunnell High School as part of its first graduating class. She and Bob were high school sweethearts, sharing many joyful memories together in the Drum Corps—Bob on drums and Patti performing with rifles. Their journey continued at Sikorsky Aircraft, where they both worked before becoming engaged in 1966 and marrying in September 1967.
Together, they built a loving family, welcoming their two daughters, Tracey and Tara. Patti devoted herself to raising her girls as a stay-at-home mom—a role she treasured—before beginning a successful career in the medical field. She first worked as a receptionist in a doctor’s office, then became Executive Secretary to the Head of Nursing at Sacred Heart University.
After relocating to Florida, where Jupiter became home, Patti continued her career as Executive Secretary to the Vice President of Nursing at the Visiting Nurses Association. Following its closure, she worked in market research before returning to her true passion—healthcare. She ultimately retired from the Breast Care Center at JFK Medical Center, where she served as a Patient Care and Surgical Coordinator alongside Dr. Gardner.
Patti was truly a people person. She had a gift for making others feel welcome, loved to laugh, and was known for her kindness, generosity, and willingness to help anyone in need. Her home was always open, and she found great joy in entertaining family and friends.
Patti shared a beautiful life with Bob for over 50 years. She and Frank spent the past 8 years filled with music, dancing, and laughter. They enjoyed going for walks, spending time with friends at the Tiki Bar (now known as the Twisted Tuna), attending shows at the Maltz Theatre and concerts at the Eissey Theatre, and traveling to Buffalo in the summers to be with family and enjoy time by the water in Canada.
Patti loved to cook and bake, passing those traditions down to her daughters, who cherished their time together in the kitchen. She was also blessed with lifelong friendships that stood the test of time.
She was a proud member of the American Legion Post #271 Women’s Auxiliary and the Moose Lodge #2237, where she served for many years on the Women’s Audit Committee.
Patti also dedicated 10 years as Co-Chair of the Royal Palm Bons Vivants Event Committee and was a member of the Exchangettes of Northern Palm Beach, Inc.
Patti will be deeply missed by her loving family and many dear friends.
