Pattie, a longtime resident of Palm Beach Gardens, was born in Greensburg, PA on March 14, 1949. She grew up in Hialeah and met her husband, Fred, in 1969 while he was attending the University of Miami. They have been together ever since.
When not in Palm Beach Gardens, they spent 24 years together in Long Island running their seasonal business, Summers Beach Club, in the Hamptons. While at Summers, Pattie was known as the “Pina Colada Girl”. It is estimated that she made over 1 million pina coladas during this time.
Pattie had a passionate love for cats. She and Fred were proud kitty parents to 2 beautiful angel cats-Woofie and Sebastian. Their current cat, Casandra, is now 7 ½ years old.
She is survived by husband, Fred Scholz; sister Rita Shullman (Steve Shullman); nephew Eric Shullman; and brother-in-law Rick Scholz (Sharon).
A private family service will be held.
