

Rosemary “Rosie” Maloney, a beacon of light and warmth, passed away on September 9, 2024, at the age of 60. Born on September 30, 1963 in Providence, Rhode Island, Rosie’s vibrant and caring nature touched everyone she met.
Rosie was a devoted mother to her two daughters Rachelle Cucca and Jacquelyn Evans and a cherished grandmother to her beloved granddaughter, Kinsley Evans. Her love for her family was her guiding force in her life and she dedicated herself endlessly to their happiness and well-being.
In her early years, Rosie moved to Florida, drawn by her passion for the sunshine and the water. This move, though it meant leaving behind friends and family in Rhode Island, was a testament to her adventurous spirit. As a creative and adventurous soul she could often be found trying something new, like kickboxing, or returning to old passions like charcoal drawings. Her creativity also flourished through her career as a professional hairstylist. Her talent allowed her to connect with many wonderful people, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met.
Rosie’s colorful personality and love for all things sparkly and glittery mirrored her approach to life. Her deep empathy and compassion often led her to share in the struggles of others, demonstrating her boundless generosity and kindness. Her vibrant and childlike spirit was a source of joy to those around her.
Rosie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kevin Maloney, her sister, Sheila Sulentic, and her parents, Inez and Justin Gill. Rosie’s legacy endures in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A visitation will be held at on Saturday 9/21 at 12:00PM until 4:00PM with a service occuring at 3:00PM at Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter FL 33458.
