Samuel Bryant Spurlock

Sam, 36, of West Palm Beach passed away at home on October 10, 2013 from an unknown infection. A few days earlier, he returned from a happy, fun trip with friends.

Sam attended Dwyer High and lived in Jupiter Farms, Jupiter, then moving to West Palm Beach where he shared a home with Joe Gajo. Some referring to these straight guys as the “Odd Couple”. Erick brought him into the fold at Rachael’s, who were like his family for 5 years. Anyone who knew him or met him could feel his joy, honesty, and attitude about life. Sam was always willing to listen and give his philosophy on life. A man taken away much too early from this world, we will surely miss him.

Until we meet again, he leaves behind his mother, his “hero”, Debra, father Stephan (Cheryl) of Homosassa Springs, His brother Buddy and his sister Christal both 34 yrs old; his nephew Austin, 6 yrs old; Uncle Mike (Tommie), Grannie of Tennessee; Uncle Donald Cochran (Maureen) of Cape Coral, Cousins Tiffany, John, Little Mike, Amanda, and our youngest Abagail, 1 ½ of West Palm Beach, and finally his grandmother, Marjorie Cochran. He was preceded in death by his grandpa Buddy Cochran.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 20th at 1 PM, Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter.
