Steven was the loving husband of the late Lori (Peterson) Mathews and the son of the late Albert and Lynn (Vasquez) Mathews.
Steven was born in Hartford, CT and spent his early childhood in Rocky Hill and Wethersfield, CT before moving with his family to Yardley, PA, where he attended Pennsbury High School and later went on to attend Penn State University. He eventually settled in Jupiter, Florida.
Throughout his career, Steven held various positions in the restaurant and hospitality industry, where his passion for culinary arts was always proudly displayed through his many talents. One of Steven’s proudest accomplishments was joining a team that helped transform the Palm Beach Princess into a first class operation. Steven’s expertise and knowledge of the hospitality industry were an integral part of the success of this venture, and lead to many dear and long-lasting friendships. Steven loved nothing more than gathering family and friends at his table where he cooked up one of his specialties. He loved playing and watching golf, gardening, the beach, traveling and most of all, spending time with his family. His generous spirit will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
