

Born on February 1, 1930, in Plainfield NJ, He was the son of Lillian and William F. Lubeck. He was predeceased by his wife, Beverly Vail Lubeck who he lovingly referred to as "Toots." They were married for 46 years. He is survived by his sons William R. Lubeck, and daughter-in-law Marge of Little River, South Carolina, Brian D. Lubeck and daughter-in-law Sharon of Brick Township NJ, and daughter Linda B. Vurgason and son –in-law John of of West Creek NJ.
Bill attended Plainfield High School and then joined the Coast Guard to serve his country. After marrying in 1953, they raised their children in Watchung NJ and spent their summers at the Jersey Shore. They moved to Mantoloking NJ where Bill continued the family tradition as an electrical contractor starting Lubeck Co. South. Bill and Beverly retired to Jupiter Florida in 1991, where Bill was an usher and parishioner at Saint Paul of the Cross in Singer Island. Bill was a world traveler and lived life to the fullest.
PopPop, as he was lovingly referred to, was instrumental in generously giving his grandchildren the opportunity to further their education. He inspired them with his savvy work ethic, business sense, and his travels. Bill is also survived by his eight grandchildren, Bill, Jessica, Kevin, Erin, Nicole, Brian, Kristin and Michael, and his seven great grandchildren, Lindsay, Lilly, Brielle, Meelo, Faye, Rowan and Sadie.
He will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor and his fun and outgoing manner. He made friends wherever he went; he was just that kind of guy.
A memorial service will be held at Aycock Riverside Funeral in Jupiter, Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 12pm to 2:00pm. An interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park in Tequesta. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project in memory of W.Wm Lubeck.
