Adolph Edward "Keala" Leong, 77, U.S. Marine Corps. Vietnam Veteran, and former paddling coach for Napili Canoe Club of Lahaina, Maui, passed away on December 31, 2016 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on November 5, 1939 in Lahaina, Maui.
Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church, 561 Front Street, Lahaina; service will begin at 9:00 a.m.; military detail presentation and 21 gun salute at 10:00 a.m.
Adolph was predeceased by his son, Kainoa Leong. He is survived by his longtime companion, Nina Cablayan; son, Desmond (Tammie) Leong; daughter, Miriam (Kaleo) Keo; brother; Francis Leong; sisters; Leinani Leong, Marianne (Milton) Rickard; and grandchildren Ronald, Julian, Ashley, Kylie, Sheldon, Kekai, Kai-Boy, Po’okela, Kamaehu, Alaina, Kawehi, and Kaimani.
