Passed away in her Kula home surrounded by her loved ones on November 6, 2023. Alberta was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to so many. Born in Lanai. She attended Leileihua High and Lanai High School. She started Du-Watts Electric with her husband Stephen Duarte in 1982. She retired in 2018. Alberta loved traveling and exploring new places with her husband Stephen Duarte. She enjoyed the beach and spending time with her loved ones. She will always be known for her loving nature to all her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Stephen Duarte, her sons Stephen (Jinky) Duarte Jr., Mike Duarte, Kainoa Duarte, Daughters Keala (Derek) Akiona, Kanani Duarte, Grandchildren Stevandra Duarte, Sierra Duarte, Kristen Duarte, Brysen Duarte, Roxy Duarte, Po’okela Akiona, Leialoha Akiona, Pualei Akiona, Kayla Kitashima, Tiana Kitashima, Nyla Kitashima, her surviving siblings 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
