Brenda is survived by her daughter, Brandie Noelani Simon of Lahaina; brother, Kenneth K. S. (Jean) Wong of Mililani; sister, Deanna K. L. (Ernest) Cabatingan of Lahaina; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is missed by her fur babies (cats) ‘Ele‘ele and Kini, and granddog Bailey “Kakio”. In addition to her parents, Brenda is predeceased by her brother, Ronald W. S. Wong.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Ballard Family Mortuary in Kahului. Visitation from 8:30 a.m. and service at 10:00 a.m. The Wong ‘Ohana would like to extend a big mahalo to the staff of Hospice Maui, Maui Memorial Medical Center, Hale Makua - Kahului, Rainbow Dialysis Lahaina & Wailuku, Kaiser Lahaina, Wailuku, and Moanalua for the care she received over the years and in her final weeks.
